Or even our place - you can do all the filming from three banks and still not be zooming in fully  ;D

- waves could be a problem  ???

We regularly record training sessions from a RIB behind, alongside or infront of the target boat.

We find three boats in parallel, all trimmed or rigged slightly differently, clearly demonstrates which is the right way to go and really helps those watching the video to understand what is happening.

If we get a few Phantoms at Northampton we can get our resident camera man out on the water. He is quite good with a Video cam and perfers not to sail when its cold, after all he is over 70...... :o

But we need a few boats so a good comparison can be done. :-\

I'll talk with our man and get Big 'n' Lardy to generate some Phantom sailing....

Hi

Had a few beers with Richard Stenhouse earlier this week and he has made a Musto skiff DVD due for launch very soon... He has all the cameras etc and is happy to help make a Phantom DVD.

I think Sten wants to go into film making rather than sailing after Kit (his wife) beat him to win the skiff inlands  ;D

Sorry Sten and well done Kit!!!  :D

What do we think?

Sounds promising! Perhaps we could organise a weekend at Rutland.

Don’t get in a phantom Sten or you might go all gooey over it like Cockerel.

Best you just admire it from afar.

Phew.  I think I put him off lads.

Sten, does this mean you will have time away from Tacticat? I see you are certainly putting the practice in although not entirely sure you need it.
