Hi All
Good news the event just got cheaper as the council will not let us use the grass due to it being to wet.
Spent this morning dodging rail squeals getting buoys ready and laughing at IRC making cock ups with very expensive spinnakers.

Lunch time meeting in the club seemed to believe if all else fails we will run 4 shorter races on Sunday.

As for the morning tricky the race officer wants  to make decision 9.30 am. What do you guys want to do?

Ian neither I nor the club have sky but I know people who do!

Regards
Gordon

Hi Gordon.

I'm not coming on Saturday but only for selfish reasons. Ive broken a finger quite badly :'( and though i think I'll get away with sailing in milder conditions i think force 6 in a swell will only result in a more busted finger.................. >:(However looking at the forecast I will definitely be down Sunday and will Race.....So after all that, for my own reasons i say make it a one dayer with 4 Races.......What ever you decide good luck with the event and I'll see you Sunday. ;D

Cheers................ Nick...........One Life - 1386

can you postpone the start and have another look about 2 nit that it'll make a lit of difference but it may blow through a bit quicker. it seems a shame to bin all racing based on a 9.30 decision, afterall a lot of us are coming a distance, unless of course you want to improve the bar takings even more. to be honest I can't see any racing taking place tomorrow but you can't be sure

Hi
We will initially put you all on top of the beach and overnight in our compounds so a bit of a pain but no problem really.

Will come and sail like Nick M on Sunday but not tomorrow sorry.

Will pop up with old dear as she is down for the weekend and take dogs for a walk and catch up for a beer but not bringing boat due to forecast.

Gordon  - Are dogs allowed in the club? Could make a joke about last year but refraining myself.

See you tomorrow ladies :-)

You are so dead.........

you have just declared war, i don,t care if Peter Phillips was your fag at school, you will have to be careful as elephants never forget.

One day, maybe soon maybe not i will have satisfaction for your low down dirty deeds with the mayonnaise, just to ruin your day no i didn't put my hat on!!!!!!!

Hi All
Thank you Nick O, Simon, Ian, Nick and Tim who appeared Saturday in the vain hope we could race but with 60knots gusts no chance. Lots of micky taking and beer consumption.
Sunday was the Solent looking great and we had  4 good races.
Well done to Simon.

Hopefully see yo all soon.
