Saturday is over and I'm aching; nice stiff breeze and several boats showing well:-
Ian Sullivan (1404) after his win at Up River is trucking like he means real business 3:1:3;
Nick Favell (1264) local, also doing well and showing exceptional offwind speed 2:3:2;
Darren Pike (1349) holding in there really well to start with, but suffered some minor mishaps later in races;
Ben Falat (1359) is current leader with 1:1:1, but all has not gone his way !
Do you notice above, the 4 Firsts .... in only 3-races ?  Apparently the race officers honestly could not split the race-2 win and it was dead-heated !
In the third race, last round, Ben's shroud-base U-bolt broke and he nursed home a very sick BUSTER; unable to put in an effective cover on the last beat he nevertheless managed to just squeak the win, before being closely escorted home by a support boat.
Ashore Free Beers, lots of Gateau, and then a steak-pie meal for a £5'er .... some of the fleet though disappeared instead to view the local Broads spectacle of the 3-Rivers race.

3-more races to come tomorrow; same forecast, or maybe just 1kt lighter, but lots more sunshine.

Only managed 2-races today.  Where did all that wind come from (F4/6) .... and direction veered 50º to any of the forecasts ?
