Yes, I know its a month away but Summer is finally here and Creeksea is the next "must do" event on the Eastern Circuit.
We have been (and still are) very busy at the club with a new slipway being built by "Uncle Neil", sorry, I mean Seabrook Developments. The first stage is now complete and is being officially opened this Saturday at midday by the cartoonist Mike Peyton. Anyone wanting to attend is most welcome by the way!
By the first week in July we should be well in to stage 2 of the project which is dealing with the rest of the slipway to the low water mark.
I shall post SIs and NOR shortly.
The club retains a healthy fleet of Classic Phantoms and we want to attract further woodies. Separate prizes are being planned if we can get more than 5 boats out.
Unfortunately I have to apologise and report that this weekend also clashes with the Burnham Real Ale Festival and it will be compulsory for competitors to see just now good the local beer is.

As usual the £20 entry fee covers everything you could possibly need over the weekend (....well everything that you could realistically expect).
More later....
