Seems we've hit the average Phantom waist size - 40

Anyone thinking about it have until the end of the week to get your entry in at the discounted rate.

If you know any ummmmers give them a nudge

Will "My Knee Hurts, Nico" Gulliver is injured and unlikely to sail, but he has accommodation sorted so he is coming...
!  He has a test sail this Thursday, chosen as I am race officer and he doesn't want to be beaten by Titch again!

My suspicion is you will see an influx of 7 entries on Friday.

Captain not so slow is also missing. We will persuade all at Downs on the weekend to make it a good one.

There are a further three at least from Creeksea to add to the list.

Now that we are getting "traction" on entries we need everyone to encourage club mates to join them.

Be warned - I'm tracking down everyone who attended in the last two years and hasn't signed up yet!!

Checked-up with a Highcliffe B+B seeking a room, only to find it fully booked unless I cared to share with someone called 'Nick' from somewhere up my way who had already indicated that he was not averse to sharing (but his contact missing) .... After a bit of research, we're now not only sharing the twin-room, but double-trailing as well.

Valkyrie 758 entered. Any other older ships care to join me? I see the discounted entry fee deadline has been extended by another 10 days, so still time to get your entries in!

Looking forward to this. Hoping to learn a bit more and get some tips and ideas on how to go a bit faster from the good guys!

Neil,

We have Ian Simon from Creeksea going with 827 which is a classic woody (if he's finished getting it sorted out in time!?).

There is a trophy for classics and I have suggested to Phil that we should have a press release explains this and repeat what the definition of classic is..

Watch this space but in essence all Phantoms are encouraged to join in the fun.  The Nationals is where you will learn how the top guys do it, what tweaks may be required to your boat and how to sail in a fleet.

How often do you get a chance to sail with this many other Phantoms from around the country.....70 boats is the dream we are working towards....
